To prevent clients from booking you when you're busy, you need to provide Tixer Connect with your calendar’s iCal URL.
Open Google Calendar on a computer.
On the left, find "My calendars," hover over your calendar, click the three dots (options) > Settings and sharing.
Scroll down to Integrate calendar.
Copy the link under Secret address in iCal format.
Go to Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings.
Select Calendar > Shared calendars.
Under Publish a calendar, select your calendar and "Can view all details."
Click Publish and copy the ICS link.
Open the Calendar app on your Mac or log in to iCloud.com.
Click the Broadcast icon next to the calendar name.
Check Public Calendar and copy the URL (Note: Change webcal:// to https://).
If you use a different calendar service (such as Zoho, Yahoo, or a private server), the process is generally similar across all platforms:
Locate the "Publish" or "Share" settings: Look for an option to share your calendar publicly or via a private link.
Find the iCal/ICS link: Most providers will offer a URL ending in .ics.
Ensure it is a "Secret" or "Private" link: You want a link that allows Tixer to view "Busy" status without making your calendar searchable on the web.
Copy and Paste: Once you have the .ics or iCal URL, follow the Inputting into Tixer Connect steps above.
Log in to your Tixer Connect Portal.
Navigate to Settings > Calendar
Paste your URL into the External Calendar URLs (Import) field and click Save.
Tixer Connect will now automatically block out any "Busy" slots from your external calendar.
To view your Tixer tickets and appointments directly in your personal calendar:
In your Tixer Connect Settings > Calendar, locate the field labeled Platform Calendar URL (Export).
Copy this unique URL.
Add to your app:
Google: Click the "+" next to "Other calendars" > From URL. Paste the link.
Outlook: Click Add Calendar > Subscribe from web. Paste the link.
Apple: Go to File > New Calendar Subscription. Paste the link.
